The girl's father was the doctor in charged of the boy and one day she overheard that he'll not last through 20. She cried. Seeing her cry, the boy swore that he'll marry her when they turned 20, though at that time he had no idea that he could not fulfill that promise. At 12, he heard about him not being able to live up till 20 and had this idea of committing suicide. However, the girl made him changed his mind. He hates to see the girl cry because of him, so he decided to get into a school far away, so that they could not meet again. Unknown to him, she actually got first place and entered that same school, publicly declared that he "can't get rid of" her that easily. He tried very hard to ignore her, thinking that it was all for her own good. However, she wouldn't change her mind. At 18, both of them tried to convince their parents to allow them to marry. With their fathers' approval and their mothers' surface disapproval, they married in the hospital, before the boy's operation. Before he entered the operation room, the boy gave the girl a box. Within the box, which the girl later opened, contained a will the boy had written. He said that he dreamt that they would get married at 20 in the temple they promised when they were 12. That girl would give birth and together, they would raise a family. "However," the letter said, "if I failed to succeed, promise me. Please promise me, that you'll fulfill my wish of raising a family." "Please fall in love again...." The last scene ends with the girl with two children and an unknown father. "...However, if fate permits. I would do anything, to keep our first love, going." And that guy was shown to be the boy himself. This story made me cried. There it is, someone who fought so hard for something, fought so hard to survive. What was I doing? I felt ashamed. This wasn't just a story, this could happen in real life...maybe without the happy ending. What was I doing? I did nothing meaningful or, for the matter of fact, really enjoyable. I admire the girl's courage, the boy's determination, and their ever-lasting relationship. What was it like? I really have no idea. I envy those who got to experience it. Being in love, deeply...
